The Kingfisher Lodge is built on a hillside overlooking the pristine waters and islands of Sitka Sound. Combining the tranquility of a secluded location with the freedom and convenience of being a short drive to downtown Sitka, we’ve built and furnished the lodge with your comfort in mind.

Each floor of our five lodge buildings features several guest rooms with private baths, along with spacious living rooms, kitchens, and spectacular view balconies. The living rooms are appointed with sofas, recliners, and large screen televisions for your relaxation after a long day of fishing. Other amenities include: wireless Internet, laundry facilities, telephones and refrigerators available for guest use.

You’ll Eat Well at Kingfisher
We put a high priority on quality food at the Kingfisher Lodge. Hearty breakfasts include all the favorites: biscuits and gravy, pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage and omelets. Lunches are served on the boat while fishing, including deli sandwiches on homemade bread. Soft drinks and snacks are also available on the boat and at the lodge. Gourmet appetizers are served in your living room after fishing and before dinner.

Dinners get the most attention from our chef, and are truly outstanding. Homemade soups and a full salad bar start things out. Main dishes include: tender prime rib, fresh Dungeness crab, Sitka spot prawns, steaks grilled to order, and fresh salmon and halibut, to name a few.

We also offer packages for downtown Sitka at the Westmark Hotel. The Westmark is the nicest hotel in town, and is conveniently located in the heart of scenic downtown Sitka. Meal vouchers for local restaurants are provided if you choose this lodging option.
